About My Family

I am married to my best friend Nathanael. We got married in November of 2009. We have 4 children together, Miley (8), Janessa (6), Joshua (4), and Joella (6 months). Miley is exactly like her daddy. Nerds to the core; they communicate with and relate to the world around them through video games. Miley can make friends super easily, and has a huge heart for people and animals. Janessa is made for the stage. Drama all day every day. She’s sarcastic and hilarious, much like her amazing mom (yes me). She is outspoken and will hold nothing back. She will fight for injustice. Joshua is all boy; he gets dirty, jumps off the couch, breaks things, hates veggies, and yells a lot. But he has a sweet heart and adores his siblings. He will be a force to be reckoned with. Joella, my youngest, was a huge surprise. She is my miracle baby. She is by far my happiest, mommy-loving, snuggly baby. I can not wait to see what the Lord has for her life!

Of course you can’t forget the animals! We have a dog named Gunner… who could very well be the least trained dog in the entire world. Ever seen the movie Marley and Me? That’s my dog. He’s totally loveable and doesn’t think he weights 70+lbs, but walk a dog by the house, and it seriously sounds like he’s dying. Our cat on the other hand is named Marlin… he’s the world’s best cat. Technically, he’s Miley’s cat, but you’ll never find a more social cat than he is. Sometimes a little too social.

Our family has been living in Western NY for years. Both my husband and I grew up in our hometown, and don’t plan on leaving any time soon. He works in the tech industry, and I have a small studio salon where I pour my wisdom into my faithful clients, as well as give them the best hair they could ever have!

Our life is pretty simple, typical, and crazy just like yours. We aim to work, serve, and raise our kids, only finding success when we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Let’s be real though, I just try to keep my kids alive… so far so good…. 🙂
